Professor Trevor Kletz, of central figures in establishing the discipline of process safety, once said “If you think safety is expensive, try an accident”. Industrial accidents are costly and we’re by no means interested in experiencing one. At PID we stand in firm faith that having a risk-based framework to development plans would not be possible without in-depth review of industry’s former experiences.
